Bluestorm bucks the trend with triple appointment
March 04, 2009
Despite the challenging economic conditions, the region’s leading full service marketing agency, Bluestorm, continues to go from strength to strength. Over the last year, the company has continued its policy of steady expansion, appointing a new Account Handler, Web Developer and PR Executive in order to meet increasing demand for their services.
These appointments follow on from a successful 12 months for the Hessle based agency, which has seen a series of high profile client wins, including Humberside Police and Holland’s Pies, bolster their active accounts to over 80.
James Merrylees has taken on the role of PR executive, Adam Carlile joins him as a Web Developer in addition to Nicole McWilliam, an Account Handler. All three members join the Bluestorm team having worked at agencies around Yorkshire. James gained his experience working at a marketing company in Beverley, with Adam and Nicole both joining Bluestorm from large Leeds based agencies.
Andrew Cawley, Managing Director of Bluestorm commented on the expansion:
“Significant local and national client wins over the last year have facilitated the new appointments, and despite the recession, the continued growth of Bluestorm in all departments will remain an important part of our business plan. Over the last year, this policy has allowed us to move into new areas, and offer quality Marketing, New Media and PR services to an ever expanding client base.”
