National Award Winning Site!

An industry first User Generated Content (UGC) website, built and developed by bluestorm , has won a prestigious national award at the 2008 Newspaper Awards in the category of Best use of New Media.

The ‘Your Mail’ website, created for the Mail News & Media Group, was hailed by judges as an “innovative community idea which should take off”.

In the 3 months the site has been live; it has become an outstanding success with content, such as a series of thought-provoking debates, generated by its many users.

The website saw off strong competition from regional and national newspaper publishing companies and Andrew Cawley, Managing Director of bluestorm is delighted:

“This was a groundbreaking concept that we were really keen to make a reality. We’re proud to have been able to work on such an interesting and progressive development. The Mail News & Media Group continues to look for new and innovative ways to engage its audience and we are very pleased to have played our part.”
