Halloumi, Hull City, beaches, lion cubs, original Star Trek, my cat Holly (not so much other cats), red wine, black olives, Tom Lehrer, science, long walks and trips to the coast, Fry and Laurie, sewing, playing music, and those heart-warming moments when you share a quick joke with a stranger in a public place and realise there is still hope for humanity.
Dislikes:
People who blow their car horns outside other people’s houses late at night, litter, filth, autumn and winter weather, the sound of shouting in the street, people who brazenly lie for a living, wet socks, standing on snails by mistake, bigotry and social injustice.

Goodfellas. Or Galaxy Quest.

If you were an animal, what would you be?:
A nice owl. I’d tolerate having to eat mice just to be able to fly around being an owl and making owl noises.
